What are the best bible verses for teenage girls?
As a young adult, it can be difficult to stay grounded and focused on faith. Most adults go through this phase. This is where your life experience can help guide them using scripture. This verse was left here as an encouragement that you’re not alone in feeling these doubts or questions; God is with you every step of the way and he wants to guide and watch over your life.
Start With Strength
Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
A solid foundation in faith is important for all believers, but it’s especially paramount to many teen girls. The Bible has numerous verses which provide guidance and strength for women of this age group; however, there’s one passage that continues to have significant meaning as a well-trodden truth: “What does the Lord require of you?
Face Fear with Faith
Psalm 31:24 – “Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord”
Psalm 34:4 – “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
The Bible tells us about fear and how you shouldn’t be afraid. If you seek the Lord, your difficulties or anxieties will go away because He’s there for everything. And when we have the toughest time facing our challenges, it feels good to put those worries and problems in His hands.
Stay On The Right Path
● Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path”
When you’re feeling a little lost, the Bible is one of your biggest resources. Anytime you feel frustrated, anxious or discouraged with anything and want to know where to turn for guidance, if only there was something in that book standing open on the table in front of me.
Be A Helper When You Can
● Proverbs 31:20-21 – “She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.”
There is always somewhere you can help. You are a child of God, and you have so much love and light to give to others. Don’t let that light go to waste. It’s been said that the greatest gift you can receive is the word of God, and it is also the greatest gift you can give. Reach out to those less fortunate than you, in any way you can, and let God shine through you.
Ask For Help When You Need It
● Isaiah 41:13 – “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
Hand in hand, the Lord will lead you in the right direction. Keep your faith and heart guarded against the cruelties of this world, and turn to the Lord for your needs. With Him, all things are possible and you are never, ever alone.
Have Hope In The Future
● Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
When you feel hopeless, this verse is probably one of the best to turn to. No matter how terrible things seem, there is always a light at the end of that tunnel. God has a plan for every one of his children; you’re not an exception. He loves you, and He’s given you a purpose in this world. Though it may seem unclear at times, a prosperous future and nothing but the best awaits believers of Christ.
You Are Beautiful
● Song of Songs 4:7 – “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”
God makes no mistakes. You may not feel flawless at the moment, but God created you just as He wanted. You were molded by His hands and therefore are beautiful, unique, flawless. When faced with your life’s challenges, remain confident in your creations because each one is perfect in the eyes of Him who made you.
You Are Strong
● Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
No burden given to you will ever be too much for you to handle, especially not with God on your side. When times are tough, share your thoughts and problems with the Lord. Prayer and reading scripture are the best ways to connect with Him; it is very important not to neglect these activities even during difficult times because prayer can give you strength and show you a way through the darkness if that is what you need.
Hold on to Peace
John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
If you can’t tell, a repeating theme here is fear and anxiety. However, the main point is that the Lord is always there in spirit to help vanquish your fears and calm your anxieties. It isn’t always right away, but if you call upon Him you should have no worries because you’re not alone.
1 Corinthians 10:13 – “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
Throughout life, there are so many temptations. A well-known example of this is Adam, Eve, and the apple. Satan will tempt you to walk away from your faith, but God will always provide a way to stay on track. It’s up to you to turn your head away from sinful obstacles in life every time you’re faced with them. Mistakes are bound to happen, and faith is bound to fluctuate. Each temptation is a test of faith, but the Lord is forgiving.
Age Is A Number
1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and purity.”
Age doesn’t define you! Just because you’re younger than some women in the ministry, doesn’t make you less capable of having faith in the Lord. Age shouldn’t mean a thing! When you are younger, people seem skeptical about your faith, but don’t forget the wisdom and spiritual power that comes with youth.
Hold On To Your Faith
Joshua 24:15 – “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Don’t be afraid to stand up for Jesus! There is no need to feel embarrassed about who you are or what He has done in your life. Once a day, take time out of your schedule each day to pray and read scripture with yourself. Talk it over with friends that also want to stay faithful into adulthood! You’ll have nothing but support from one another if you’re all on this path together looking forward towards the same goal- salvation through Christ Jesus.
